Legend Airlines would be the first airline in Romania to operate an Airbus A340.
Legend Airlines will soon register an Airbus A340 in our country, according to the information we have obtained.
With this type of plane, Legend Airlines would operate charter flights, both passenger and cargo, from the second half of 2022. Legend Airlines obtained its air operator certificate in Romania in September 2021 and currently has only one aircraft in its fleet.
At the publication time of this article, the new Romanian airline still had no ICAO code and callsign.
Currently, only one plane dedicated to long-haul flights is registered in Romania, this being a Boeing 747-400BCF operated by Romarco Airlines.
Dan Air (formerly known as Just Us Air) would also reportedly operate Airbus A330s.
